BARDEN is the dream to make the ultimate expression of grapes grown in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA.  Our access to the top vineyards along with the philosophy and knowledge gained from Doug Margerum’s over thirty years in the wine business allows us to make world-class wines.  BARDEN’s English meaning is “Lives near the boar’s den” … thusly we have adorned the label with an image of the wild boar that is pervasive in the Sta. Rita Hills.

Co^lluvial™ is the culmination of a project conceived several years ago. Fernando Fernandez’ wines represents, as the back label suggests, some of the best “terroir” in vineyards across the world. The artwork reflects my most cherished blessing — “Las Nenas”, my beautiful daughters, Ema, Adriana & Marisabel, as symbolized by the three roots.

With each vintage we strive to work exact rows, blocks and clones with acreage contracts whenever possible. This enables us to make small adjustments in farming techniques if needed, which is critical for producing top quality wines.Born and raised in Santa Barbara County, owner/winemaker Kevin Law first produced wines under Cotiere in 2006.

Four generations of the Hibbits family have farmed the Lompoc Valley, building a diverse and successful farming operation run today by Art Hibbits. His ranch features prime topsoil over 30 feet deep in places, and has supported a wide array of nuts, vegetables, seed crops as well as cattle grazing, for over a century.

We seek to support local Santa Ynez Valley viticulture and honor our palates’ love for old world wines that have naturally high acidity and are not masked by too many modern day manipulations. We selfishly decided to start out making what we most love to drink: Chardonnay that is earth and mineral driven from cool climates with little or no new oak. To achieve these qualities we were drawn to one of the coolest of all California AVA’s, Sta. Rita Hills.

Spear Vineyards & Winery is a family owned, sustainably farmed and herbicide-free vineyard nestled in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills Appellation.

Owner/winemaker Jessica Gasca’s small production winery is aimed at producing high quality and balanced wines. They focus on single varietal and single vineyard releases. Single vineyard allows us to focus on "the place" the grapes are farmed and single varietal will show how each varietal is affected by that place.

Inspired by a summer trip to France in 2008, we began making wine in a second story, white-carpeted apartment in West Hollywood. 

tercero wines is the brainchild of Larry Schaffer, who is the owner and winemaker. Larry did not start out in the wine industry – most who are in it do not – but his past has led him to exactly where he is and should be.
