Many of our member wineries welcome visitors to their tasting rooms or wineries; many have set hours that they are open to the public and others taste by appointment only. You may also find many members of the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance at regional tastings, so please stop by their table, have a taste of fine Sta. Rita Hills wine and say hello!

First Annual Pioneers of Santa Barbara County Winemaker Event
- Titans of Industry Wine Tasting Saluting Area’s Legacy and Legends -
Fall marks the 47th vintage for a cache of pioneers crafting wines in Santa Barbara County. The dream of seeing this nascent growing region evolve into a world-class wine destination has now become a reality, in large part to those early visionaries who remain stewards of the land.
November 11th marks the First Annual Pioneers of Santa Barbara County winemaker event, showcasing 20-plus wineries in an intimate setting to salute the early trailblazers and vintners who helped shape the region’s AVAs of today. Benefitting Arts Outreach of Santa Ynez Valley, the tasting will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Solvang Veterans’ Hall with a VIP champagne after party and mixer with the winemakers. Tickets: $38/advance; $45/at the door; reception $35/each. www.pioneersofsantabarbaracounty.com. Key attendees include Sanford, Au Bon Climat, Babcock and Foxen.
A percentage of ticket sales will benefit Arts Outreach, a non-profit service serving more than 3,000 students and Santa Barbara County residents.
